Gaslamp Brasserie & Bar, Wickersley approached us wanting to update their photography and create social media posts for their Instagram and Facebook accounts. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Gaslamp Brasserie & Bar had been forced to close due to government guidelines.
In May 2021, restaurants were able to open again and Gaslamp wanted to promote their restaurant as well as their new menu. As part of the project, we booked a photoshoot to capture their stunning premises and delicious menu, using fresh photography that shows the restaurant in its best light.
Once the photography was completed, we then started to use the images throughout Gaslamp’s social media posts and graphics. The images we captured help to promote the new menu and create a new interest and buzz around the restaurant’s reopening.
We also updated the Gaslamp Brasserie & Bar website with our new photography, giving it a new lease of life while looking much more classy and modern, helping to bring their brand to the next level of professionalism.

To begin the photoshoot, we started capturing pictures of the premises and its interior and exterior, covering all of its angles and points of interest so that we had a comprehensive selection of images to use in future marketing projects.
While we were taking pictures of the premises, we set the Gaslamp’s talented chefs on with creating their stunning new menu, ready for when we’d finished capturing the interior and exterior shots.
The chefs brought their new dishes to us in stages so that when we took the images of the food, it was fresh, looked delicious and the best it possibly could.
Along with their new food menu, we also took images of new cocktails and coffees, showcasing the skills of the Gaslamp’s mixologists and bartenders.
As you can see in the gallery below, the images we took look really clean, professional and inviting. Showcasing their stunning premises, staff and menu like never before.
Photography Comparison
To see how much the photography has been improved, it’s important to take a look at Gaslamp’s previous photography. As you can see from the before and after images below, the photography has been improved significantly. The images are brighter, cleaner, well lit and are compositionally better, making them much more attractive, inviting and professional.
The images also look a lot more modern and in keeping with Gaslamp’s clean and classy art deco style.

To promote Gaslamp’s reopening, we created social media graphics using our new photography to help sell the unique experience that Gaslamp Brasserie & Bar has to offer.
The graphics we created are in keeping with their art deco style, using clean lines, relevant font selections and photography, we were able to create impactful messages to promote Gaslamp’s opening events while pushing their brand throughout each post.
Visually impactful social media graphics are fantastic for promoting the events, as they’re being shown to a captive audience as well as potential customers. Getting your customers to interact is the key to getting your post seen on social media, as the more interactions the post gets, the more people it will reach, the more interest it will generate.
Below, you can see the improvement we’ve made to their social media graphics, making them much more luxurious, professional and creative, as well as using our photography to help promote the message and experience of the restaurant.

Once the photography was complete, we then updated the Gaslamp website with their all-new photography, giving it a fresh new look and helping to sell the unique experience.
As you can see in the comparisons below, the website’s look and feel have been improved significantly. The website looks much more professional, brighter and less dated, through the use of clean and classy images.
